Cyberpower PC, a unique high end gaming desktop manufacturer, has announced at CES upgrades to its Fang line, the addition of AMD’s latest Radeon HD 7970 graphics card as a configuration option, and integration of NZXT’s latest Switch 810 chassis into the company’s high-end gaming rigs.

The Fang line is entering its third generation, and its Black Mamba represents one of the best systems Cyberpower has to offer in customizable gaming rigs.

Its parts are housed in an Azza Fusion 4000 case, and the system comes standard with Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge-E Core i7-3960X processor, which will offer blazing fast speeds in applications (such as Photoshop CS5) that can take advantage of the CPU’s multiple cores.

Cyberpower offers something it calls Venom Boost, which is the company’s name for its CPU overclocking technology, which can boost processor speeds up to 30 percent.

Also, AMD’s latest Radeon HD 7960 GPU will also be available as a configuration option, but it does not come as a standard option—two Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 graphics cards do. The Fang III Black Mamba is currently available and has a starting price of $4,999.

CES 2012 The Fang III comes in three other flavors in case the Black Mamba doesn’t fit your budget: There’s the Cobra ($2,179), Viper ($1,245), and Rattler ($995). But each of their designated prices can easily rise and fall before you reach the checkout line.

Cyberpower has apparently fallen for NZXT’s latest Switch 810 case, as it’s intending to feature the case as an option for most of its high-performance gaming rigs.

In addition, Cyberpower is adding AMD’s Radeon HD 7970 graphics card as an option before checkout in gaming rigs such as the LAN Party EVO, Fang III Series, Gamer Xtreme, Gamer Ultra, and more. The Radeon HD 7970 is the first 28nm GPU and has earned top honors as our Editors’ Choice for high-end graphics cards.
